Help with contract agreement; non-compete
I consulted with David Katz regarding contract law, specifically non-compete. David Katz agreed that the wording was imprecise and somewhat vague, then presented me, in a bullet point format, a plan to follow that would satisfy the contract, save me from being involved in a murky dispute, and allow me to go forward unencumbered.
He was very generous with his insights and time. Communicating with him, either through email or person-to-person, was clearly a two-way process. He listened to my thoughts and concerns, then addressed them all concisely.
Though his advice was not what I had wanted to hear, it was what I needed to hear. Most importantly, he kept me from a potential legal quagmire.
