HOW THE KATZ LAW GROUP CAN PROVIDE LEGAL ASSISTANCE IN MASSACHUSETTS DURING THE CORONAVIRUS CRISiS

Posted by David Katz | Mar 18, 2020 | 0 Comments

It would perhaps be an understatement to say that Covid-19 is the most all-encompassing crisis this country has faced in many years. If the crisis has not affected your company's business interests yet it will soon. As a small law firm designed to help small businesses, the Katz Law Group invested time and energy some years ago into making our office mobile and secure. Not only mobile for ordinary daily work but also, in preparation for periods of inclement weather which are very familiar to us here in the Northeast. Little did we know at the time that such planning would later put us in a good position to be able in order to do business during the current national crisis.

As of this moment, our firm is fully functioning from remote facilities with our main Marlborough office closed for the foreseeable future. The decision was made to close our main office in light of what we believed was a growing national problem that would disproportionately affect a number of the people in our office who are now over 60 years of age. Since our team has been together we have always risen and fallen on the adage "all for one and one for all." It is that loyalty that has propelled us through good and bad times over the past 20 years.

Our team can still be contacted through our main telephone number at 508-480-8202. Any call that goes through our main number automatically goes out to various cell phones after only two rings. We rarely have a situation where a call is missed. We have ongoing access to all databases, email, faxing, and texting as always. Despite the fact that the Massachusetts court system is largely closed down, we are still here to answer your questions and to solve your problems each and every day.

I would heartily suggest that your company read the Center for Disease Control's "Interim Guidelines for Businesses and Employees" as well as the Office of Safety and Health Administration's bulletin on "Guidance on Preparing Workplace for COVID-19." The Small Business Administration also has helpful information on how your business can combat this crisis both in the workplace and contains information for those businesses seeking emergency financial relief. On this end, our team will continue to produce informational blogs and subject area pages so that your business can remain both informed and competitive.

In short, we have you covered during this precarious time. Please call us at 508-480-8202 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. and sometimes later!
